As an Argentinian wine producer with a keen eye for luxury and value, my stay at Claridge was an interesting blend of old-world charm and modern convenience. The historic Belle Epoque ambiance added character to the stay. While the rooms were clean and comfortable, they fell short of the opulence expected from a 5-star hotel. Yet, the value for money proposition was evident, making it a sensible choice for the budget-conscious traveler.The location was superb, allowing easy access to the city's main attractions and shopping districts. The staff, particularly in the breakfast hall, were accommodating and attentive. However, the overpriced breakfast was a downside compared to local options.Although lacking in some high-end amenities like a fitness center or a pool, Claridge compensates by offering essentials like Wi-Fi and a business center. The staff's exceptional service, notably aiding a guest with a stolen passport, added a personal touch to the experience.Ultimately, Claridge strikes a balance between cost and luxury, making it a suitable choice for travelers seeking a taste of Buenos Aires' rich history without breaking the bank.
